RFA04: Face-to-Face-Training

About The Training

This training is conducted “Face-to-Face” and is intended to provide 1 hour of approved training for RFA Approval requirements. The participant(s) are required to attend in person at the designated time and location as directed by Legacy staff. Participant(s) should have accomplished the following tasks prior to attending the training:

1. Watch the following training videos:
   a. RFA01 – Introduction and Deal Breakers Training
   b. RFA02 – Partnerships Training
   c. RFA03a – Cultural Competency Training
   d. RFA03b – Personal Rights Training
2. Complete the test after each video.
3. Check off your completed trainings on your syllabus.
4. Complete the self-assessment from the cultural competency training video.
5. Complete all homework assignment from the training videos.
6. Compile a list of questions you may have from the training videos.
7. Review the case studies provided below (Case Study #1, and Case Study #2).

The training shall follow the following format:

1. Welcome and Introductions
2. Review training tests, and retrain on any incorrect answers.
3. Sign corrected tests and receive credit for the assigned training.
4. Questions and Answers.
5. Review and role play case studies. The case studies are provided below (Case Study #1, and Case Study #2).
6. Receive assignment for the next Training Videos.
   a. RFA05a – Trauma Sensitive Parenting Training – Part 1
   b. RFA05b – Trauma Sensitive Parenting Training – Part 2
   c. RFA06a – Attachments and Co-parenting Training
   d. RFA06b – Positive Parenting
   e. RFA06c – Parenting the Sexually Abused Child
7. Dismiss.
